Document digitisation costs vary with each project. Understand how we calculate your costs

“It’s the number one question we get asked”

For a long time now, organisations have understood the importance of managing their documents. Whether digitally transitioning to electronic document storage, or continuing to store paper files physically. Paper Escape can provide tailor made solutions that suit your requirements. But the big question is how much will this all cost? It’s the number one question we get asked. Let’s explore all the variables.

We regularly speak to business owners who have created an in house scanning infrastructure, only to find that costs can quickly escalate whilst the operation itself struggles to provide the desired results without significant investment in the technology and software, not to mention to experience in handling and processing documentation to a standard that meets current legislation. It’s therefore no surprise that many of these businesses and originations turn to Paper Escape for help.

Well, the good news is that our document scanning rates start from as little as 2 pence per image, but they can vary depending on the paperwork criteria. Volume, condition and document size all play their part. For example, files containing heavily creased paper, or micro documents such as petty cash receipts, are likely to incur higher rates than files containing well maintained A4 documentation. Use our online calculator tool, to assess your requirements and obtain a quotation.

Yes, there are additional and optional fees such as collection, indexing & delivery of the digitised files. To obtain a proposal that details of these rates, please use the online calculator quick quote tool

No. Our solutions integrate with your existing solutions. There’s no additional software or training required.

Indexing is the naming convention of your documents or files, something else to factor in when considering costs. Essentially, every PDF we create will require an index. In many cases, this may be handwritten on the front or spine of a file, for example, a staff members name. Indexes can be inputted manually, or we can use intelligent data capture technology to extract the information from the documents as we scan them. For more information about file indexing, please visit the indexing page of our website.

Yes, we can provide an accredited secure destruction service for your confidential documents once you’re happy with the digitisation work undertaken.
